Synopsis
“Wishes from the well” is a short film about a down and out man who desperately needs coins to buy medicine. Frustrated, he steps onto the road of lies to get some coins.

Director's Biography
Alesja is an Estonian director and storyteller, who loves to show realistic stories of ordinary people in fantasy and magical worlds. Her first film "Habit" (2018), made back in her school days, won all Estonian regional film festivals and gained recognition in the international arena, for example it won silver at UNICA World Amateur Film Festival. After working for 5 years as a cinematographer, she entered the film world as a director with a strong visual eye. She finished BFM as a director and also graduated from the Cannes Lions Young Academy in Rogher Hatchuel faculty.
