Synopsis
Swarnava and Mili are victims of the prejudiced idea of a perfectly happy marriage. The narrative starts five years after their divorce, on an evening, which brings them together under one roof for the whole night, first time post their ugly divorce. A night of remembrance, introspect, realization and a closure. An unplanned stay over at Mili’s place, help them address their pain and seek for closure and see things with more clarity, in an effort to build a guilt free future for both of them separately and put their current relationships into perspective. Deep Fridge plays the third lead to Swarnava and Mili in this story. The narrative is divided into three parts, which not only define the state of mind of its two main characters but also the gradual progress in their perspectives as the night progresses to dawn. By the end of the night, the freezer is defrosted to the very last drop, serving as a perfect metaphor for both their current state of mind, which is now free to wander off in a make believe world of surrealism, where they remain a family and pursue their life together, where there is chemistry, passion, love and loyalty.
